The Dainese *Racing 5* leather jacket has a regular fit and is made from high-quality 1.2 mm thick Tutu cowhide leather. It is equipped with the Dainese *Veloce Racing Neck* system, which reduces pressure on the neck. Large inserts made of *S1* 2-way stretch fabric and adjustment options at the hips ensure maximum comfort and freedom of movement. The EN 17092 Class AA-certified racing jacket is equipped with certified level 2 composite protectors on the elbows and shoulders, as well as replaceable aluminum inserts on the shoulders. These ensure a more “natural” slide in the event of a fall and prevent chaotic, dangerous swirling of the body. In addition, the *Racing 5* is prepared for the use of an optional *Type G* back protector and a chest protector.

Thanks to Dainese's studies on the perfect fit, the *Racing 5* can be worn comfortably over the Dainese *Smart Air* airbag device without you having to buy a size larger. The correct fit of the sleeves prevents the protectors from slipping into the wrong place in the event of a fall. This means that the rider can rely on maximum protection at all times. IIn addition, the loops with which the Smart Air is attached to the jacket allow the airbag to be put on and taken off with a single hand movement, whereby the airbag always remains in the correct position under the jacket.
